Today was another small but meaningful milestone for Kavanah Pouch.
The first pouches have officially shipped.
After all the planning, testing, website work, packaging decisions, pricing changes, order setup, shipping setup, and the little details that go into launching even a simple product, it felt good to finally pack the first orders and send them out.
It is one thing to have an idea.
It is another thing to hold the product in your hand.
And it is another thing entirely to place it into a package, print a shipping label, and know that it is going to someone who wants to use it to help make davening a little more focused.
Kavanah Pouch was created around a simple routine:
Place the phone fully inside. Let it slide to the bottom. Seal the top. Daven.
That is really the whole idea.
Not a complicated gadget. Not another app. Not another notification setting to manage.
Just a simple way to put the phone away before davening and create a little more space for kavanah.
The first pouches are now on their way, and I hope they help bring a few quieter moments to the people who receive them.
This is still the very beginning. I am learning as I go — testing the pouch, improving the instructions, refining the site, and thinking about how this can be useful not only for individuals, but also for families, shuls, yeshivos, minyanim, and anyone who wants to make davening time feel a little more protected.
